|06:28 pm - I hate summer|
Yes, I do. I hate summer and this stupid heat. I'm tired of sweating buckets, of being thirsty all the time, of restless nights that result to miserable mornings. I want winter back. I want to be able to get up at 5 and write. Now I get up at 5:30 and crawl in the shower, followed by a horde of hungry, cranky cats who whine at me to turn the heat off.
On the plus side, I have a new story idea that I really like, and I've spent a lot of time researching today. Methinks I've got the main points plotted out in my head, and I'll try to start the typing later today. And yes, it has cats. :p
Current Mood: annoyed
When they were kittens mine went through a phrase of thinking I could turn the sun on.
I hate the summer too, because it's warm here but won't stop raining. It's like living in the frigging Amazon. :-(
Oh, mine know very well that I'm the Changer of Litter, Bringer of Noms and Holder of Doors. So they can't figure out why I can't turn the heat of as well...

I was hoping your new place would have air conditioning. Is that just not to be found in Greece? Or just not easily done in the buildings you've lived in?
Either way, I'm sorry. It has been hot here too and I am so grateful for the AC.
Oh, a/c is very common in Greece. I just never needed it so far, since fans worked fine with me. But I guess with the climate changing, I'll have to cave in and get a couple of units, at least for my bedroom and office.
It's hot and humid here, too. But what do you expect in a city that was built on a malarial swamp? I don't know if it is true, but the old story is that the employees of our British consulate used to receive hardship pay. :D
September won't come soon enough...
Ouch. It's humid here too, but there's sea all around us. And I swear I see the cats' fur curling slowly but steadily...
September? I'm hoping for November...
I'll swap you - I'm totally over Winter.
