|06:30 pm - Checking in...|
Argh! Heatwave! Temperatures are nearing 40C, and all the animals are comatose from the heat, and sitting anywhere near the PC is impossible. Even typing makes me sweat. Heck, I shower and I'm sweating again the moment I turn the water off.
No writing done. No house chores done, and the house is a big mess because the heat drains all energy. But here's another thing I found out about the new place:
Wednesday morning, around 9, an alarm/buzzer thingie starts to, well, buzz, and I was somewhat freaked out, thinking there might be a fire alarm or something. It stopped after a while, and the electrician came by, and the matter was resolved. Apparently, the apartment has a maid-calling button system installed. And since *I* didn't use it, it's clear who did. *they* did. The horde of feline rascals have figured out how to call their maid. *headdesk*
Meanwhile, here's a pile of my brave brats behind the bed after the electrician left. Soooo brave, all of them...
Current Mood: thirsty
LOOOL Yup,very brave indeed!:p
And they would find a way to make that work, rofl;maid-calling system, indeed!*giggles and pets you*
Yeap. It's official now. I'm a cat-servant.
And heat without a/c is very close to hell...
As for the cats, I' not sure it isn't working... Purrs work better than buzzers. ;)
Remember that old saying that dogs have owners while cats have stuff? Well, here's the proof.
it's clear who did. *they* did.
And I love how all their lined-up little laser eyes in the photo!
Yeap, my little rascals did it again. *sigh*
LOL, well, you are their maid aren't you?
I hope it is soon cooler for you.Heatwaves are a nightmare.
I love the row of eyes!
